Client Details

Michael Page has partnered exclusively with a leading services organisation that are seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team. Our client services the entire east coast within an niche industry and with business expansion plans coming to fruition, they are looking for someone who is ready to hit the ground running and provide valuable assistance in all finance functions. Core focus on maintaining strong financial controls and utilising technology to streamline processes. You will report to the Finance Director and be in charge of full cycle month-end reconciliations with an emphasis on timeliness, accuracy and efficiency, producing month end financial reports, liaising with our sales managers and department managers.

Description

• Preparation, reporting and analysis of the monthly management accounts, including Profit/Loss Statements, Balance Sheets and Job Profit/Loss reporting
• Cash flow administration and management
• Register management; Invoice, PO, Assets including depreciation, acquisitions and disposals
• Preparation and compilation of quarterly BAS
• Monthly general ledger reconciliations, including stock and materials
• Management of the group's accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll functions
• Involvement in budgetary processes
• Liaise and provide direction to key management and administration staff on all financial processes

Profile

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Tertiary education in Accounting/Business studies.
• CPA/CA qualified or studying towards;
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle high-volume transactions.
• Med-Advanced Excel skills are required.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
• Strong analytical skills and a commitment to maintaining high work standards.
