MARS Recruitment are partnering exclusively with an Infrastructure organisation. Our client is looking to hire a Financial Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an opportunity to join a global business who are rapidly growing.
The Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in assisting with year-end Financial Audit procedures and Tax Audits, supporting the production of Financial Statements.
- Prepare and maintain a comprehensive list of monthly journal entries, along with detailed listings for various balance sheet accounts.
- Contribute to month-end reporting activities.
- Post monthly, quarterly, and year-end accruals, ensuring adherence to AASB standards and internal policies for accurate financial statements.
- Compile journal entries and associated documentation, meticulously tracking account details, creating sections of financial statements, and drafting related disclosures.
- Collaborate in ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings, including Payroll Tax & BAS.
The Requirements:
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards.
- 2-4 years' experience in a similar role.
- Confident in Excel and using large ERP systems.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

- The hybrid working model is 2 days in the office, 3 days from home.
