Reporting To The Financial Controller, Your Duties Will Include - Ensure payroll integrity and compliance with internal controls.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current employment agreements and payroll legislation.
- Process weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time.
- Handle adjustments, termination pays, leave entitlements, and deductions.
- Code and allocate payroll invoices correctly.
- Manage salary sacrifice transactions.
- Maintain the vehicle register and process relevant invoices.
- Keep accurate employee records and payroll data.
- Maintain up-to-date electronic filing systems.
- Prepare statutory reports, including Payroll Tax and Superannuation returns.
- Reconcile payroll transaction with the general ledger monthly.
To be successful in this role, you will have minimum 12 months high volume payroll experience. You will have an excellent customer service approach, be detail orientated and be able to identify areas for change and embrace it. You will work within a small and collaborative team and work in a relaxed, friendly and hard working culture.
