CMS Electracom, located in Dandenong South, a wholly Australian owned and operated business is one of the leaders in the supply of innovative soft wiring solutions for Commercial and Industrial building. 

Role:

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Assisting in ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the general ledger, via accurate journal entries, bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations
• Assisting with month end processing and reporting
• Monthly and quarterly BAS preparation
• Maintaining fixed asset register
• Assist accounts payable and receivable
• Processing monthly payroll
• Backup – Weekly payroll
• Monthly superannuation lodgement
• Preparing FBT return
• Assisting in the preparation of Audit documents
• Other projects and ad hoc tasks (where time permits)

The role ideally suits an individual who is an Assistant Accountant who has embarked on their accounting career with a minimum of 12 months experience or an experienced Bookkeeper with a minimum of 5 years experience.  It is essential that you have excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management, problem-solving, advanced Excel skills. Candidates with any prior experience in MYOB and Microsoft Dynamic are strongly encouraged to apply.

What's on offer:

Immediate start - 6 month fixed term contract with potential view to extension, 22.8hrs per week, start and finish times negotiable
