Applicants must hold an Australian Bachelor's degree or higher, or an overseas qualification comparable to an Australian Bachelor's degree. In exceptional circumstances, equivalent qualifications may be considered by the Course Convenor. Additionally, applicants must have at least two years' experience in a leadership or management role and provide a resume/CV outlining relevant experience. English language proficiency is required, with an overall IELTS score of 6.5 (no sub-band less than 6.0) or equivalent demonstration of English competency.
The Graduate Certificate consists of four units totalling 24 credit points. Students complete one core unit: Theology, Theory & Practice of Leadership (LAMC50600). They then select three discipline-specific units from options including: Leadership & Organisation, Communication for Leaders, Organisational Processes & Change, Human Resource Management, Managerial & Professional Ethics, Marketing Management, Strategic Planning for Leadership, Accounting for Leaders, and Legal & Governance Issues in Management. Units are offered on a rotational basis, with year-long units including a compulsory intensive on-campus study component.
