The Bachelor of International Business prepares ambitious students for global leadership roles by combining core business studies with specialized language and cultural training in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, or Latin America. Domestic applicants require an ATAR of 80 or International Baccalaureate score of 30. Assumed knowledge includes HSC Mathematics Advanced or equivalent. International applicants are assessed on equivalent qualifications. English language proficiency is required. Applicants with higher education, VET qualifications, or work and life experience may be assessed on alternative criteria. Adjustment factors are available for eligible students facing difficult circumstances.
The program requires 144 units across three years, including: Core business courses (International Business, International Strategic Management, Business Reporting and Analysis); Economics foundations (Microeconomics, Macroeconomics); Quantitative Research Methods; Regional specialization courses in Asian Business, European Business, Middle Eastern Business, or Latin American Business; Language studies (minimum 36 units in a single language from Chinese, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Arabic, or Persian); Transdisciplinary problem-solving courses; and elective courses from humanities, social sciences, and other disciplines. Students may also complete work-integrated learning through internships, industry projects, and global business immersion programs.
